Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin getting to know one another. We will discuss current concerns, personal history, goals for therapy, and any challenges the client would like support navigating. The first session is also an opportunity to ask questions, explore what therapy may look like moving forward, and begin building a comfortable and trusting therapeutic relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Therapy with me is more than just talking through problems — it’s about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped to grow. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and tailored to each person’s unique needs, helping clients build practical coping skills, improve emotional wellness, and navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. I work well with clients who may feel overwhelmed or emotionally stuck but are open to growth, healing, and developing healthier coping strategies. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and client-centered, helping clients build emotional wellness, confidence, resilience, and healthier ways to navigate daily challenges.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify unhealthy thought patterns and understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Through CBT, clients learn practical coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and healthier ways to respond to stressors and challenges.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use TF-CBT to support children, adolescents, and families in processing traumatic experiences in a safe and structured environment. This approach helps clients build emotional regulation skills, reduce trauma-related symptoms, and develop healthier coping strategies while strengthening feelings of safety and resilience.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate DBT techniques to help clients improve emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT is used to support clients who experience intense emotions, impulsive behaviors, relationship difficulties, or challenges managing stress.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients recognize their strengths, build confidence, and focus on achievable goals rather than remaining stuck in problems. This approach encourages clients to identify practical solutions and small, meaningful steps toward positive change.
