About me

As a Queer and neurodiverse Filipino immigrant, I focus on upholding the principles of liberation psychology, authenticity, and decolonization, especially through offering equitable and accessible therapeutic services for clients experiencing concerns with anxiety, depression, life transitions, peer and familial relationships, LGBTQ issues, and ADHD. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will start with a brief introduction and overview of policies then begin to explore your broader history and concerns, thus allowing us to identify your goals and priorities in treatment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I value cultivating a culturally-responsive and trauma-informed space where you and I are “kapwa,” the Filipino word for kindred souls. In our therapeutic relationship, we are a team. I learn from you just as much, if not more, than you may learn from me. The collaborative relationship we build together is essential in creating a space where you feel respected, heard, and most importantly, fully accepted. My goal is to bring your sense of self in alignment with your goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My clients request support in navigating depression, anxiety, self-esteem, gender identity, burnout, perfectionism, neurodivergence and other such concerns. In working with me, you'll find a therapist who is open-minded, welcoming, approachable, flexible, and above all, committed to supporting you in building your life worth living.

Patricia picked back up from the previous appointment (March 2025) in a helpful manner, scanning the pieces I shared and connecting back in to see how things had either resolved, or progressed. I felt heard, supported and able to renovate some thoughts and patterns that I have within myself that seem to be hurdles toward not overstimulating myself. Thank you!

Patricia is a great couples counselor for my gf and I. They are super understanding of us being queer and neurodivergent. Each session feels packaged up very nicely, and I feel like we really pick apart each week and come out of it w a new solution.

Patricia has been understanding when I have needed to postpone, reschedule, or change how much I was able to pay. Patricia helped complete a document of concern to help advocate for an assessment with ALTA. Patricia has offered unique insights and allows me to connect the dots on my own through open-ended questions. Patricia has been responsive in-between sessions when I have had questions or have asked for help regarding my document of concern. Patricia is only my second, consistent therapist I have had in my few decades of living and I can say that they have lent me their lense through which to see my romantic, platonic and professional life a bit more objectively. That's an accomplishment and big win she helped me to secure. What I also appreciated (not sure if it was intentional or not) is that they didn't divulge details from their personal life until months after meeting with me. Patricia holds the space for you and meets you where you at. I feel I ramble, Patricia laser-focuses on what you tell her you need (reads between the lines and more). Definitely hoping to stay working with Patricia for as long as we can.
