New to Grow
Hi, I’m Eryka! I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself without judgment while working toward meaningful growth. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, trauma, grief, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. Together, we’ll build practical coping skills, increase self-understanding, and work toward helping you feel more confident, emotionally balanced, and empowered in your daily life.
In our first session, you can expect a supportive and judgment-free space where we begin getting to know one another. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently facing, what’s been working (or not working), and what goals you hope to achieve. I may ask questions about your background, relationships, coping skills, and life experiences so I can better understand the full picture. There is no pressure to share everything at once, we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together toward meaningful progress.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is that I believe therapy should feel both supportive and productive. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, heard, and understood while also helping them move toward meaningful growth and change. I meet clients where they are emotionally, while gently challenging unhelpful patterns and building practical tools that support long-term progress. I take an individualized, collaborative approach to therapy, recognizing that no two people are the same. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based interventions, and motivational techniques to help clients build insight, improve emotional regulation, strengthen self-esteem, navigate relationships, and develop healthier coping strategies.
I am best positioned to support children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, relationship stress, life transitions, behavioral concerns, and difficulties with emotional regulation. I work well with clients who feel stuck, emotionally exhausted, uncertain of themselves, or overwhelmed by stress, family dynamics, past experiences, or major life changes. Many of the clients I work with are seeking healthier coping skills, stronger boundaries, improved confidence, emotional healing, better communication, and a greater sense of balance in their daily lives. I also support individuals who want to better understand themselves, improve relationships, strengthen emotional regulation, and feel more empowered in decision-making. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and practical. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and challenged in healthy ways that promote growth, healing, and meaningful change.
