New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who enjoys supporting women as they navigate challenges related to self esteem, identity, anxiety, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in narrative, attachment based, and emotion focused therapy, helping clients explore their experiences and better understand themselves. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to reconnect with your strengths and move toward the life you want.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. You can expect a safe, non judgmental space to share your experiences, identify your goals, and begin thinking about the changes you’d like to see in your life. We’ll also discuss how we’ll work together and what approach will best support you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I bring empathy, insight, and a collaborative approach to therapy, helping clients feel truly seen and understood. My strengths include guiding women in exploring their personal narratives, recognizing patterns in relationships, and building self worth and emotional resilience. I am skilled at creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can process emotions, gain clarity, and develop practical tools for growth.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is a woman, often a woman of color, seeking support in building self-esteem, self-worth, and a stronger sense of identity. She may be navigating life transitions, stress, or challenges in relationships and is ready to explore her personal story and patterns in a safe, supportive space. Together, we work toward clarity, empowerment, and healthier ways of relating to herself and others.
Narrative
I use a narrative therapy framework to help women explore the stories they’ve internalized about themselves and their lives. Together, we examine how cultural expectations, past experiences, and relationships have shaped these narratives, particularly around self-worth, identity, and personal value. Through this process, clients are supported in separating themselves from limiting beliefs, reclaiming their voice, and rewriting more empowering stories that reflect their strengths, resilience, and authentic identity.
Attachment-based
Using an attachment-based approach, I help women explore how early relationships and past experiences influence the way they view themselves and connect with others. Together, we identify patterns in relationships, build emotional awareness, and work toward developing healthier, more secure ways of relating, while strengthening self-trust, boundaries, and self-worth.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Using an emotion-focused approach, I support women in identifying, understanding, and processing their emotions in a safe and compassionate space. This work helps clients move through difficult emotional experiences, build deeper self-awareness, and develop healthier ways of responding to their needs and feelings.
