As an experienced family therapist, I have the skills and knowledge needed to help families navigate even the most challenging situations. What sets me apart is my unique perspective as a former stay-at-home mom to now-grown children, which gives me a deep understanding of the struggles and milestones that families face. If you're looking for a compassionate and experienced therapist who can make a real difference in your family's life, I invite you to consider reaching out to me for help.
On the first session we get to know one another. The client explains what they would like to get out of therapy and we go through what can and can not be done in therapy and see if we are a good fit for one another.
My clients have found my compassionate and caring approach to be helpful in building trust and creating a safe therapeutic environment. I strive to be patient and non-judgmental, always willing to listen to my clients' concerns and experiences. Ultimately, I hope to provide my clients with the support and guidance they need to navigate life's challenges and achieve their goals.
I strive to create an atmosphere of trust and safety so that we can explore your struggles together and discover new and useful ways of relating to yourself and those around you. I work particularly well with people who are interested in looking beneath the surface of their lives and want to create meaningful and long-lasting changes. I view therapy as a creative collaboration that provides compassion and insight. If you are seeking help for yourself, your child/adolescent, or your family, we will work together to figure out how to make life more rewarding, and fulfilling. I primarily use humanistic and psychodynamic psychotherapy for clients who want to know themselves on a deep level. I see the person first and client second. Psychodynamic psychotherapy is helpful to connect past with present, to better understand patterns and understand what is holding you back from living your best life.
