Nadia Simplice
Hi, I'm Nadia, a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care with a focus on medication management and whole-person wellness.
As both a Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner, I bring a whole-person approach to care.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns, taking time to understand how lifestyle, stress, and overall health can affect emotional well-being. I believe in working collaboratively with my patients to create personalized treatment plans and a supportive environment where they feel heard, respected, and confident in their care.
First session
During our first session, we'll take time to discuss your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, and treatment goals. I'll ask questions to better understand what you're experiencing so we can determine the best treatment plan together. You'll also have plenty of time to ask questions. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and supported from the very beginning.
Strengths
As both a Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner, I bring a whole-person approach to care. I believe in meeting each person where they are with compassion, honesty, and without judgment. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, asking questions, and actively participating in your treatment. I combine clinical expertise with a practical, supportive approach to help you feel heard and confident in your path toward better mental health.
Ideal clients
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who are ready to better understand their mental health and take an active role in their treatment. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, or feeling overwhelmed by life's challenges, my goal is to help you find a treatment plan that fits your needs. I value open communication, collaboration, and creating a supportive environment where you feel comfortable and heard.
Treatment methods
Motivational Interviewing
I use motivational interviewing (MI) to help clients overcome ambivalence and build motivation for change. Through reflective listening and collaborative goal-setting, I support them in finding their own path forward, particularly in addiction, mental health, and behavior modification.
Supportive
I use supportive therapy during medication management visits to help patients process challenges, build coping skills, and work toward their mental health goals in a compassionate, collaborative environment.
