Nadia Simplice

PMHNP, 10 years of experience

Hi, I’m Nadia, a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care that blends medication management with a holistic, person-centered approach. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other mental health challenges, while also exploring the mind-body connection, lifestyle factors, and integrative strategies that promote lasting wellness. My goal is to create a collaborative, supportive space where clients feel empowered in their mental health journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other. I’ll ask about your current challenges, mental health history, and what you’re hoping to get from treatment. I’ll also share how I work, including how medication and holistic strategies might fit into your care. Most importantly, it's a relaxed, judgment-free space where you can feel heard and supported.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As both a Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner, I bring a whole-person approach to care. My strength is meeting clients where they are with empathy, honesty, and without judgment. Having been in tough places myself, I understand how overwhelming mental health struggles can feel. I combine clinical expertise with a down-to-earth, supportive style that helps clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to take the next step in their healing journey.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are ready to take an active role in their mental health journey and are open to exploring both traditional and holistic approaches to care. My ideal clients are often feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or burnt out; whether it’s from anxiety, depression, mood instability, or life transitions, and they’re looking for a provider who can offer both medication support and tools to address the whole person. They value a collaborative relationship, where we can openly discuss not just symptoms, but also lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, stress, and mindfulness. If you’re seeking a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what wellness looks like for you, I’m here to walk alongside you.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing (MI) to help clients overcome ambivalence and build motivation for change. Through reflective listening and collaborative goal-setting, I support them in finding their own path forward, particularly in addiction, mental health, and behavior modification.
