I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides thoughtful, patient-centered care for children (ages 8+) through adults. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable talking openly about what you’re experiencing. I focus on medication management along with practical support to help you better understand your symptoms and feel more in control of your day-to-day life. I value clear communication and a collaborative approach, and I work with you to develop a treatment plan that feels manageable and effective. I understand that starting or adjusting treatment can feel overwhelming, and I aim to make the process as clear and comfortable as possible. Don't see a time that works for you? Please send me a message through Grow. My posted availability may not reflect all appointment options, and I may be able to accommodate alternative appointment times outside of those currently listed.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know you and understanding what’s been going on. I’ll ask about your current symptoms, history, and how things are affecting your day-to-day life, as well as any past treatment or medications. This initial visit is focused on building a clear picture so we can determine the most appropriate next steps. We’ll discuss possible diagnoses, review treatment options, and begin developing a plan together. In some cases, this may include starting or adjusting medication, and in others, we may take additional time to gather more information before making decisions. My goal is to make the process feel comfortable, clear, and collaborative, so you leave the session with a better understanding of your symptoms and a plan moving forward. For attention-related concerns, I may use structured assessments or follow-up visits to ensure an accurate diagnosis before starting treatment. Scheduling Note: If you do not see an appointment time that works for your schedule, please send me a message through Grow. My posted availability may not reflect all appointment options, and I may be able to accommodate alternative appointment times outside of those currently listed.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to combine thoughtful medication management with a supportive, collaborative approach. I focus on truly understanding each person’s experience so that treatment decisions feel clear, individualized, and effective. I’m known for being thorough without making the process overwhelming. I prioritize clear communication, realistic expectations, and practical strategies that patients can apply in their daily lives. My goal is to help patients feel more stable, confident, and in control—not just during visits, but over time.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are seeking clarity, stability, and practical support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood-related challenges. Many of my patients are feeling overwhelmed, struggling to stay focused or motivated, or noticing that their symptoms are interfering with daily life, work, or relationships. I am especially well-suited for clients who are open to a collaborative approach and are interested in understanding their symptoms and exploring treatment options, including medication when appropriate. My goal is to provide a clear, structured, and supportive process that helps patients feel more confident in their treatment and make steady, meaningful progress over time. I tend to work best with clients who are open to ongoing follow-up and an active role in their treatment.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing as a collaborative, patient-centered approach to help individuals explore their goals, build insight, and feel more confident making changes. In my practice, I use it to better understand each patient’s perspective, reduce resistance, and support them in taking realistic steps forward. This is especially helpful when patients feel stuck, unsure about treatment, or hesitant about starting or adjusting medication. Rather than pushing a specific plan, I focus on meeting patients where they are and working together to find an approach that feels manageable and meaningful for them. I find this approach helps build trust and improves long-term engagement in treatment.

Supportive

I use supportive therapy as a core part of my approach to help patients feel heard, understood, and more equipped to manage day-to-day challenges. In my practice, this includes active listening, providing reassurance, offering perspective, and helping patients build on their existing strengths. I often incorporate supportive therapy alongside medication management to help patients process stress, improve coping, and stay engaged in treatment. My focus is on creating a safe, non-judgmental space while offering practical guidance that patients can apply in their daily lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate cognitive-behavioral techniques into my care to help patients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my practice, I focus on identifying unhelpful thought patterns and offering practical strategies that patients can use to manage symptoms more effectively. I often use CBT-informed approaches alongside medication management, providing simple, actionable tools that can be applied in everyday situations to support progress between visits.
