New to Grow
I am dedicated to helping men reclaim their sense of agency in a world that often feels overwhelming. I view our work together as a shared journey—I am a fellow traveler and an expert in existential exploration, helping you navigate the 'burden of existence' with purpose. My goal is to help you move beyond just 'getting by' so you can lead a life defined by intentional action and genuine meaning.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
We will start with a brief intake to ensure we have the necessary clinical foundation, but we won't stay in the paperwork for long. I like to dig in right away. You can expect a conversational, deep-diving session where we begin identifying the burdens holding you back. My goal is for you to leave our very first meeting feeling empowered, heard, and genuinely hopeful about the path ahead.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is my ability to bridge the gap between complex philosophy and practical, everyday life. I don't just sit and nod; I engage deeply with your perspective to help you find clarity. Clients appreciate that I bring a unique philosophical angle to the therapeutic process, turning existential 'weight' into a catalyst for personal growth, resilience, and decisive action.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are men navigating the complexities of modern life who are ready to claim greater agency over their future. We focus on bridge-building between where you are and where you want to be, specifically by clarifying your values and taking intentional action. Together, we work to release the heavy burden of existence by finding meaning and purpose in the choices you make every day.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past ten years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions influence each other. We'll use this understanding to change your negative thought patterns, which will lead to a more relaxed, stress-free, and intentional life.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT to help you stop struggling with difficult thoughts and emotions, moving instead toward a life guided by your deepest values. Together, we will work on psychological flexibility, using mindfulness and committed action to help you show up fully for the things that truly matter to you.
