New to Grow
I’m T’Keyah Dailey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nine years of experience guiding children, adults, and families through life's challenges and transitions. My therapeutic approach combines compassion and collaboration, creating an environment where clients feel truly seen and understood. I utilize a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring my treatment to meet each client’s unique needs. I believe in a personalized healing journey and work closely with clients to discover practical tools, enhance emotional regulation, and foster self-awareness. Together, we cultivate clarity, resilience, and confidence, empowering you to create meaningful changes that align with your values and support your long-term well-being.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we will establish a foundation of safety, trust, and understanding. I invite you to share what feels most important to you as we explore your experiences, strengths, and goals for therapy. Together, we’ll clarify expectations, set boundaries, and outline a personalized plan that respects your pace. This session focuses on grounding and ensuring you feel supported as we embark on this journey together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My strengths lie in blending clinical expertise with a holistic, multidimensional approach. I merge evidence-based therapies—like CBT, DBT, EMDR, MATCH, and Motivational Interviewing—with intuitive practices, including meditation, oracle readings, and human design. This flexible approach allows me to tailor therapy for clients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing their specific needs. By combining professional training with personal insights, I create an empathetic environment where you will feel understood and equipped to navigate challenges while unlocking your full potential.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I resonate with individuals who are ready for change. You may feel weighed down by patterns, unexpressed pain, or coping mechanisms that no longer serve you, yet you hold a glimmer of hope for healing. You’re open to exploring diverse paths to wellness, integrating evidence-based therapy with holistic or spiritual practices that honor your whole self. Your commitment to honesty and active engagement in therapy is essential, as you recognize that healing can be a transformative journey, even if it has its ups and downs. You seek a culturally responsive and affirming space, where your experiences are honored, your strengths are celebrated, and you're supported in enhancing clarity and self-trust. You’re not looking to be “fixed”; you want to be understood and empowered as you reconnect with your inner wisdom and pursue lasting, meaningful change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my work, I use CBT collaboratively and practically. I help clients identify automatic thoughts, core beliefs, and behavioral patterns that are reinforcing symptoms such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma-related responses. Together, we examine these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment and work to challenge cognitive distortions, reframe limiting beliefs, and develop healthier, more adaptive ways of thinking and responding.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) as a collaborative, client-centered approach to support behavior change and personal growth. By emphasizing empathy, active listening, and curiosity, I help clients explore their motivations, resolve ambivalence, and strengthen commitment to change. In practice, I guide clients to clarify their values, set realistic goals, and identify practical steps forward. Using open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations, I empower clients to find their own solutions and take meaningful action toward their desired outcomes.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop skills for managing intense emotions and navigating situations beyond their control. DBT teaches practical strategies for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness, empowering clients to maintain balance and stability even during challenging circumstances. In practice, I guide clients to apply these skills in real-life situations, fostering resilience, self-awareness, and healthier coping patterns. The approach is particularly effective for clients experiencing high emotional intensity, stress, or difficulty with self-regulation, as it provides tools to respond intentionally rather than react impulsively.
Psychoeducation
I incorporate psychoeducation as a foundational part of therapy to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By providing clear information about mental health, coping strategies, and evidence-based treatment approaches, I empower clients to make informed decisions about their care and actively participate in their healing process. In practice, psychoeducation may include teaching clients about symptom management, stress reduction techniques, healthy communication, and self-care strategies. This approach helps normalize experiences, reduce stigma, and equip clients with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate challenges with confidence and resilience.
Integrative
I use an integrative approach that combines evidence-based therapeutic methods with spiritually-informed tools. This allows clients to benefit from structured, skill-based interventions while also exploring self-discovery, personal insight, and alignment with their values through modalities like astrology, Human Design, and oracle readings.
