New to Grow
Has life been feeling overwhelming lately, leaving you wishing you could talk to someone who truly listens to your worries? I enjoy helping people navigate life's challenges while they discover their inner strengths and regain hope. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Rural Illinois, where I received my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Illinois University. My primary focus is on children, families, and the LGBTQIA+ community. Let's take that scary first step together and start your healing journey, as you are so worth it!
Our first session will be a time to get to know one another, where we will discuss what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve in therapy. This is the perfect time to ask questions you may have regarding therapy. An assessment will be worked on in the first session to assist with getting to know one another and learn more about the goals you want to accomplish in therapy. This is the perfect time to discuss what areas you want addressed first.
I am very patient, understanding, compassionate, and willing to take time to help you discover what is best for you. I am always learning and hoping to be a better therapist every day!
I enjoy working with children and their families to address a wide range of mental health symptoms. I hope to help your family function more effectively, learn to regulate emotions together, and work through challenges in a safer environment while utilizing coping skills. I have additional training working with the LGBTQIA+ community both during my Bachelors, Masters program, and after my schooling.
