New to Grow
Hello! My name is Judy Branch, owner of Judy E. Branch Counseling, LLC, in Lone Tree, Colorado. I love helping clients find relief from the curveballs life is sure to throw, by creating a strong therapeutic alliance and listening carefully to correctly understand client perspectives and circumstances. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to be fully yourself — without judgment, pressure, or having to “have it all figured out.” Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, family conflict, trauma, or self-doubt begin affecting everyday life.
Our first session together will have two goals. First, I want to hear from you about what brings you here for therapy, what your goals are, and what you want from your therapist. Second, I want to make sure we're a good fit and if you want to move forward in working together, which often happens after our initial consult or first session.
My approach is compassionate, relational, and practical. I integrate evidence-based strategies with genuine connection to help clients strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, increase confidence, and move toward lasting emotional wellness. My communication style as a therapist is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and connection. I strive to create an environment where clients feel emotionally safe, genuinely heard, and accepted without judgment. Humor can be an important part of healing, and I am not afraid to laugh with clients when appropriate.
My ideal clients are individuals and couples who want healthier communication, stronger boundaries, and deeper emotional connection. They are motivated to understand their patterns and create more satisfying relationships. I work to build a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients so that we can work collaboratively to identify goals and appropriate interventions to implement. I like to work as a team with my clients.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT with clients to help clients understand how thoughts/feelings/behaviors work interchangeably in cycles. Once the cycle is identified, we can begin to have proactive conversations about how to interfere with the cycle to create lasting change.
Attachment-based
Oftentimes, disruptive thoughts and feelings stem from human attachments formed or not formed in our early years. Learning about these can bring a greater understanding for clients.
Couples Counseling
I like to help bridge gaps in communication with couples by helping them determine certain patterns that have been developed during the relationship.
EMDR
I use EMDR ( eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy) to help clients who have experienced trauma.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Therapy can be integrated into almost every session, as it addresses strategies to help client regulate their nervous system.
