With 20 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges, I provide a warm, collaborative space where clients can better understand themselves and build practical tools for lasting change.

My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based method that helps identify unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen coping skills, and create healthier responses to stress, anxiety, depression, and other concerns.

First session

Your first therapy session is an opportunity to begin getting to know one another in a comfortable, supportive setting. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, the concerns or challenges you are experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I will also ask about relevant personal history, current supports, and any prior experience with counseling. Together, we will begin identifying goals and determine whether CBT-based strategies may be helpful for your needs. You are welcome to ask questions, share at your own pace, and decide what feels comfortable to discuss. The first session is focused on creating a foundation of trust and developing a plan that feels meaningful and manageable for you.

Strengths

I believe therapy works best as a partnership. Together, we will focus on your goals, build on your strengths, and develop strategies that support improved mental health and a more fulfilling daily life.

Ideal clients

You may be ready to begin therapy if you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, low in mood, or affected by patterns that continue to cause emotional distress. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out—only a willingness to explore what is happening and take small, meaningful steps toward change. Therapy can help you better understand the challenges affecting your well-being, develop practical coping strategies, and build healthier ways of responding to difficult thoughts and emotions. Together, we can create a supportive path toward greater clarity, resilience, and emotional balance.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can be an effective approach for managing anxiety and navigating life transitions. Anxiety often involves persistent worry, self-doubt, or fears about what might happen. During therapy, we identify the thoughts, behaviors, and situations that contribute to anxiety, then practice practical strategies to respond with greater clarity and confidence.
