I am a mental health counselor with over 11 years experience in helping clients work toward their vision of a happy and meaningful life. I have spent most of my career working in community mental health, where I currently work full-time as a behavioral health director. I am continuing to provide counseling services with Grow as working with people in counseling is my passion and I look forward to finding out what goals you hope to accomplish!
Clients can expect an experienced clinician providing a warm, non-judgmental environment, where we get to know each other and talk about your goals and how we plan to move toward them.
I have experience working with many populations, issues, people, and settings. I began my work in substance use, have extensive experience providing counseling in private practice, and have had years providing treatment to those with severe and persistent mental illness. My clients consistently provide feedback that they feel truly heard during our sessions, and that they feel a sense of movement toward their goals.
I work mostly with adults who are experiencing depression and anxiety. If you find it difficult to navigate your day-to-day while experiencing emotional distress, racing thoughts, substance misuse, existential issues, difficulty letting go of the past, or conflict with others in your life, I would love to talk with you to develop a plan of how you'd like life to look differently.
