LeAnn Snellgrove
Hey, y'all! I'm LeAnn. Do you find yourself feeling hopeless and struggling with getting everything done? Do you find yourself feeling anxious or depressed? Do you find yourself comparing your life to your peers or just others in general? Do you struggle with communication and/or forming meaningful relationships? If this is you, then I am here to help by talking through the different levels of hurt, anger, anxiety, and depression. I like to approach problems by looking at the whole-person and then work through each level to get back to a balanced life. No matter what you are dealing with, I'm here to help. Pursuing therapy can feel frightening but you're making the right decision. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and understanding so that you can overcome the things that are holding you back. Let's work together!
First session
In our first session together you can expect us to begin building rapport with one another and begin discussions on how I can help you overcome the obstacles you are currently facing.
Strengths
I feel like my biggest strength is making people feel comfortable like we are old friends just coming back to a conversation that is ongoing. I also feel like I am great at encouraging others to see the good in themselves.
Ideal clients
Demographic Profile Age Range: 13 years old and up (Teens, Emerging Adults, and Adults). Life Stages: High school/college students, young professionals, and adults navigating mid-life or career transitions. Core Challenges Your ideal clients are individuals dealing with everyday stressors rather than severe, specialized clinical pathologies. They are looking for actionable guidance, perspective, and coping mechanisms to overcome obstacles in these specific areas: Academic Stress: School performance, test anxiety, time management, and the pressure of future planning (common in the 13–22 age bracket). Job-Related Issues: Workplace burnout, career transitions, toxic work environments, and professional imposter syndrome. Relational Conflict: Friction with family members, communication breakdown with romantic partners, navigating friendships, or managing difficult co-worker dynamics. Client Mindset & Goals Desire for Growth: They want to actively problem-solve and move past the hurdles currently keeping them stuck. Receptive to Relatability: They appreciate a practitioner who is human, empathetic, and willing to share relevant personal experiences to normalize their own struggles. Open to Faith-Based Perspectives: While not always a strict requirement for every client, your ideal "perfect match" client is someone open to—or actively seeking—faith-integrated discussions to help guide their healing or decision-making.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I was trained in CBT in 2016 and have been utilizing it to help clients with regaining control of their mental health by focusing on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors. I use it to treat a range of mental health conditions including, but not limited to depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
