First session
During our first session, we will discuss your concerns, goals, strengths, and what led you to seek services. This is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, explore your needs, and begin developing a plan to support your growth and well-being. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and understood.
Strengths
I bring more than 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families in both clinical and educational settings. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and strengths-based, focusing on helping clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore challenges, identify strengths, and develop practical strategies for growth. I value collaboration, authenticity, and respect, and I work to build strong therapeutic relationships that promote trust, resilience, personal growth, and meaningful change.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are adults and parents seeking support with emotional wellness, life transitions, stress, relationships, and the challenges that come with balancing personal and family responsibilities. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, communication difficulties, and relationship or family conflict. For parents, I provide support with navigating challenging behaviors, setting healthy boundaries, improving parent-child communication, establishing consistency, and developing effective parenting strategies. My goal is to help clients strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, build confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change. Ultimately, my ideal client is anyone who is ready and willing to do the work!
