New to Grow
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over five years of experience, I have worked across both court systems and private practice settings, supporting individuals navigating complex life circumstances, behavioral challenges, and personal growth. My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and respect for your lived experience. I believe that you are the expert on your life, and my role is to help you uncover patterns, build insight, and develop practical strategies that align with your goals. I work most confidently with individuals who identify as: Neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism/ASD) LGBTQIA+ Single mothers Adults navigating trauma, anger, and major life transitions My work is affirming, nonjudgmental, and grounded in the belief that growth is possible when you feel safe enough to be fully seen.
In the first few sessions, we focus on building a strong foundation for your work together. This includes: Understanding what brought you to therapy Exploring key areas of your life (family, work, relationships, health, and social support) Clarifying your expectations for therapy Identifying what you want to change and what progress looks like for you From there, we develop a plan that supports both immediate needs and long-term goals, helping you move toward meaningful and sustainable change.
PRISM Counseling Group was built out of a desire to provide care that feels genuine, effective, and aligned with real client needs. My path into this work began during a difficult time in my own life, when I experienced severe bullying and found myself navigating that experience largely alone. Being in counseling during that time had a profound impact on me—it showed me the value of having someone who listens, understands, and helps you see what you may not yet see in yourself. That experience shaped how I show up for my clients today. At PRISM, you can expect: A space where you are heard without judgment Support that is both compassionate and honest Guidance that respects your autonomy and lived experience A focus on real, actionable change

Other specialties
I identify as
Compassion Focused
At PRISM Counseling Group, we recognize that many people are their own harshest critics. Compassion-Focused Therapy helps clients develop greater self-compassion, reduce shame, and respond to themselves with the same kindness they so often extend to others. Through this approach, we work to foster emotional resilience, increase self-acceptance, and create a foundation for lasting healing by replacing self-judgment with understanding and care.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps clients identify the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we examine patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, depression, anger, or feeling stuck, and replace them with healthier, more effective ways of thinking and responding. Our goal is to equip clients with tools they can confidently apply in everyday life to create meaningful and lasting change.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Emotions provide valuable information about our needs, experiences, and relationships. Through Emotion-Focused Therapy, clients are encouraged to better understand, process, and regulate their emotions in a safe and supportive environment. Rather than avoiding difficult feelings, we work collaboratively to explore them with curiosity and compassion, helping clients develop greater emotional awareness, strengthen relationships, and respond to life's challenges with increased confidence and authenticity.
Narrative
At PRISM Counseling Group, we believe that every person is more than the challenges they face. Narrative Therapy invites clients to examine the stories they have developed about themselves and consider how those stories have been shaped by life experiences, relationships, and societal expectations. Together, we work to separate individuals from the problems they encounter, highlight personal strengths, and rewrite narratives that better reflect their resilience, values, and hopes for the future.
Gender-affirming therapy
PRISM Counseling Group is committed to providing an affirming, inclusive, and respectful environment for individuals of all gender identities and expressions. Gender-Affirming Therapy creates a space where clients can explore identity, relationships, self-expression, and life transitions without fear of judgment. We honor each person's unique experience and collaborate with clients to navigate challenges, strengthen self-confidence, and cultivate a life that feels authentic, safe, and aligned with who they are.
