Angela Bravo
Hi, I'm Angela Bravo, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and founder of Primavera Psychiatry and Wellness in Miami, Florida. I specialize in women's mental health, with a focus on perimenopause — the season of life when so many women stop feeling like themselves and don't know why. I offer bilingual care in English and Spanish. All psychiatric visits are by telehealth only, anywhere in Florida — no commute, no waiting room.
I’m Angela Bravo, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with dual certification in psychiatry and family medicine.
Alongside psychiatry, I provide medical weight management (including GLP-1 options), by telehealth or in person by appointment. My approach is warm, practical, and evidence-based: I listen first, explain your options clearly, and build a plan with you — not for you. **What I treat:** anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, insomnia, and perimenopause-related mood and sleep changes. Follow-ups include brief supportive psychotherapy when part of your plan. **Please note:** I do not provide ESA letters, FMLA paperwork, or disability documentation.
First session
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other. I’ll ask about your current concerns, medical and mental health history, and what goals you have for treatment. It’s a relaxed conversation—no pressure. My goal is to understand your needs and create a safe, supportive plan that works for you.
Strengths
My greatest strengths are empathy, active listening, and cultural sensitivity. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and respected. Being bilingual allows me to connect deeply with both English and Spanish-speaking clients. I’m also highly experienced in evidence-based care, helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and personalized support.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, or life transitions. I welcome people from all cultural backgrounds, especially those seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) provider who offers a compassionate and nonjudgmental space. I work best with clients who are open to growth, value emotional wellness, and are ready to take steps toward positive change.
Treatment methods
Supportive
Supportive therapy is a type of talk therapy that focuses on helping you cope with current stressors, build on your strengths, and feel more emotionally stable. We work together to manage difficult emotions, improve relationships, and strengthen your ability to handle life’s challenges—without diving too deeply into your past unless it’s helpful.
