New to Grow
As a neurodivergent individual myself, I understand the unique challenges and strengths that come with living in a world that isn't always built with our needs in mind. Whether you are beginning to explore neurodivergence or have already been diagnosed, together we will work to reduce feelings of shame around traits and behaviors, and collaboratively build tools for navigating daily life with more confidence and self-compassion. In addition to my neurodiversity-affirming work, I also support individuals who are navigating stress, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Whether we are exploring identity, improving coping skills, or working to break free from unhelpful cycles, my goal is to walk alongside you as you uncover and embrace your strengths, honor your needs, and build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
Our initial session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another better, where I will complete an assessment called a psychosocial assessment that details your background, current functioning and symptoms, and your desired goals for therapy. I strive to always make sessions a safe and judgment-free space where you can be vulnerable and explore difficult emotions and experiences. I encourage you to show up in a way that allows you to feel most comfortable and yourself - so feel free to come to session in your favorite cozy PJs, enjoy a snack, and bring your favorite fidgets with you.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, affirming and deeply person-centered. I believe that there is no 'one size fits all' approach to therapy and enjoy weaving together a variety of evidence-based strategies to tailor treatment to the unique needs, strengths and communication style of each of my clients. I believe that therapy should be a safe and judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are - stimming, fidgeting, going off-topic, or processing at your own pace is always welcome. When working with my neurodivergent clients I often focus on building executive functioning skills, emotional regulation tools, and self-advocacy strategies while also addressing the impacts of masking, burnout and societal expectations. I approach therapy through a lens of equality, inclusion and respect for all identities and am deeply committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can feel truly seen and valued.
I enjoy working with adults and older adults dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, bipolar disorder, and neurodivergence - including ADHD and Autism. My clients come to me at all stages: some have never tried therapy before, others have been in and out of it for years. What they all share is a genuine desire to understand themselves better and feel more confident showing up as their authentic selves in day-to-day life. Many of my clients have worked with me for years, though I also welcome individuals looking for a more focused, short-term approach to address a specific stressor or challenge. My style is open, accepting, and rooted in lived experience. My goal is to create a space where you can be vulnerable, explore freely, and never feel judged.
Other specialties
I identify as
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
ACT focuses on helping clients accept difficult emotions and thoughts rather than fighting against them. I guide clients in clarifying their values and committing to meaningful actions that align with your long-term goals.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT helps clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression and self-doubt. Through structured techniques, I help clients replace unhelpful beliefs with healthier perspectives, leading to improved emotional well-being.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
By incorporating mindfulness, grounding exercises, and body awareness, I help clients manage stress, regulate emotions, and develop healthier responses to life’s difficulties.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Rather than dwelling on problems, I help clients identify strengths and build practical solutions to take small, meaningful steps toward their goals. This approach is especially useful for clients seeking clarity and motivation in their personal and professional lives.
