First session
Your initial appointment is designed to help us gain a comprehensive understanding of your concerns, symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals. During this visit, we will discuss what has brought you to treatment, how your symptoms are affecting your daily life, and any previous experiences you have had with therapy, medications, or other mental health services. I take a collaborative and patient-centered approach, which means I believe the best treatment plans are developed together. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and asking questions. During the evaluation, we may discuss your mood, anxiety, attention and concentration, sleep, stressors, relationships, medical history, family history, and lifestyle factors that may be impacting your mental health. If appropriate, we will also review treatment options, including medication management, coping strategies, and evidence-based interventions tailored to your needs. By the end of the appointment, you can expect to leave with a clearer understanding of your symptoms, potential diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and next steps. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and empowered as we begin working together toward improved mental wellness and overall quality of life.

Ideal clients
I specialize in helping adolescents, college students, young adults, and working professionals who are struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, burnout, mood disorders, and life transitions. Many of my patients are privately struggling with focus, overwhelm, procrastination, emotional exhaustion, self-doubt, or difficulty managing the demands of school, work, and personal life. I work particularly well with individuals who have spent years feeling misunderstood, dismissed, or frustrated by previous treatment experiences. Many of my patients come to me seeking clarity regarding ADHD, anxiety, depression, or mood-related concerns and are looking for a provider who takes the time to listen, thoroughly evaluate symptoms, and develop an individualized treatment plan. My practice is especially well-suited for: • College and graduate students navigating academic stress, test anxiety, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges • Professionals experiencing burnout, anxiety, depression, or difficulty maintaining work-life balance • Adults seeking evaluation and treatment for ADHD who have struggled with focus, organization, procrastination, or productivity throughout their lives • Individuals with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or trauma-related symptoms seeking evidence-based treatment and ongoing support • Patients looking for thoughtful medication management combined with practical coping strategies and lifestyle recommendations My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful progress toward their personal, academic, and professional goals.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize CBT-informed interventions during psychiatric follow-up visits by helping patients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I provide psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, coping skills training, and problem-solving techniques to help patients manage symptoms and improve functioning while supporting their overall treatment plan.
