New to Grow
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, practical, and grounded in helping clients understand how past experiences influence their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I integrate trauma-informed cognitive behavioral strategies to help clients develop healthier coping skills, strengthen boundaries, and build more balanced, fulfilling lives. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel understood while gaining tools to move forward with clarity and confidence.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what has brought you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current concerns, life experiences, and the patterns you may be noticing in your thoughts, emotions, or relationships. This helps us begin identifying areas where support and change may be helpful. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. Together, we will begin identifying goals for therapy and explore practical tools that can help you move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is helping clients connect past experiences to current emotional and relational patterns while providing practical tools for change. I focus on helping clients gain insight, strengthen boundaries, and develop healthier ways of navigating relationships and life stressors.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with individuals who are seeking to break generational patterns and build healthier lives and relationships. Many of my clients are learning to set boundaries for the first time after growing up in environments where emotional needs were overlooked or misunderstood. I often support individuals recovering from emotionally immature or manipulative family dynamics and managing anxiety related to relational stress. Many are high-functioning on the outside but feel emotionally exhausted and are ready to create more balanced and sustainable ways of living.
Trauma-Focused CBT
My practice incorporates Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients understand how past traumatic or adverse experiences influence their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, relational trauma, and long-standing patterns rooted in early family dynamics. Treatment focuses on identifying maladaptive beliefs, improving emotional regulation, strengthening boundaries, and developing healthier coping strategies. My approach is both trauma-informed and practical, helping clients break generational cycles and build more stable, empowered lives.
