Hi! I’m Meghan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults seeking greater self-understanding, healing, and connection. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, relationship concerns, attachment wounds, and relational trauma through a warm, relational, and insight-oriented approach. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and work toward lasting change that feels authentic and meaningful.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll start getting to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything at once; this is simply a starting point. We’ll explore what you’re hoping for from the process, what feels most important right now, and begin creating a space where you can feel comfortable being open and reflective as we move forward together. We’ll talk about what’s been feeling challenging for you, as well as what you’re hoping for from therapy. I’ll also ask some questions about your history and current life to get a fuller picture of your experiences, including relationships, stressors, and any patterns you’ve noticed over time.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is the way I combine relational therapy with Internal Family Systems (IFS) in a deeply attuned and collaborative way. I don’t see clients as “broken” or in need of fixing; instead, I pay attention to the different parts of you that have developed for good reason, especially in response to past relationships and experiences. Together, we create space to understand these parts with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. I also place a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship itself as a space for healing. The work is not just about insight, but about experiencing a new kind of relationship in real time—one that is safe, supportive, and emotionally present. While our sessions are important, I also believe a lot of the real work of therapy happens outside of the therapy room, as insights are carried into daily life, relationships, and moments of stress. Over time, this allows for deeper healing of relational wounds and more lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support young adults and adults who feel stuck in recurring emotional or relational patterns despite their efforts to change. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, perfectionism, difficulty setting boundaries, relationship challenges, or the lasting impact of relational trauma and attachment wounds. Often, they are insightful and high-functioning but find themselves repeating patterns that no longer serve them. My clients are typically seeking more than symptom relief; they want to better understand themselves, heal longstanding emotional wounds, improve their relationships with themselves and others, and feel more confident and authentic in their daily lives. Together, we work to increase self-awareness, strengthen self-compassion, develop healthier relationship patterns, and create lasting change from the inside out.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I integrate relational therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand how early relationships, attachment experiences, and relational trauma influence their current emotions, beliefs, and relationship patterns. By exploring the protective parts that developed to navigate past challenges, clients can begin to heal underlying wounds, strengthen their connection to self, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
