I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) currently awaiting diagnostic privilege approval and pursuing my Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and am trained and certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In my work, I integrate DBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic approaches, and other evidence-based modalities to provide individualized, compassionate care. I specialize in perinatal mental health, supporting individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. As a mother myself, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to this work, creating a supportive and understanding space for clients navigating this unique stage of life.
In our first session, I focus on getting a clear understanding of where you are in your life right now. We’ll explore current stressors, triggers, and any challenges that may be impacting your day-to-day functioning. We’ll also discuss where you would like to be—your goals for therapy—and begin identifying how I can best support and guide you toward meaningful change.
My strengths as a clinician include a strong prescriptive ability, allowing me to thoughtfully tailor interventions to each client’s unique needs. I prioritize building a genuine therapeutic relationship by deeply understanding each client’s experiences and perspective. I am flexible in my approach and strive to meet clients where they are, supporting them in making meaningful and sustainable progress. I also bring a warm, compassionate presence to my work, creating a safe and supportive environment for growth.
I provide individual therapy to clients across the lifespan, working with adolescents (13+) through older adulthood. My approach is tailored to each developmental stage, supporting clients in addressing age-specific challenges while fostering growth, resilience, and overall well-being. My speciality is perinatal therapy focusing on conception, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. I am actively pursing my PMH-C and offer long term care to guide parents through the Matrescence stage of life
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, developing more adaptive beliefs and behaviors that support emotional well-being.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (with a certification) to teach skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, helping clients navigate intense emotions and relationships more effectively.
Somatic
I integrate somatic approaches (with a certification) to increase clients’ awareness of bodily sensations, supporting the processing of stress and trauma while promoting nervous system regulation.
