Sometimes life throws obstacles in our way that can make us experience emotions that sometimes can leave us feeling helpless, hopeless, angry, and unmotivated. My purpose is to help others overcome obstacles, empower, and rise above challenges or stressors that we may encounter on a daily basis. My name is Dionne and I specialize in working with children and adolescents that have complex trauma histories, mood disorders, behavioral health problems, and grief through individual and group therapy. I have worked in a variety of settings including foster care, schools, and behavioral health hospitals. I utilize several modalities such as CBT, TBRI, and trauma informed practices to help clients reach their goals. Together, we can find the best solutions to your worst problems and restore the peace and happiness that you deserve!

Clients can expect a genuine, supportive, and non judgmental environment while building a therapeutic alliance to foster results. Utilizing a collaborative approach, the client and I will work together to set and achieve realistic and attainable goals. Clients can expect to see results and a better overall sense of self through ongoing sessions.

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy along with Trauma Informed practices and Trust Based Relational Interventions (TBRI).
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I have an extensive background working with children and adolescents with complex traumatic backgrounds as well as a variety of mood disorders including ADHD, depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and DMDD. I’ve worked with a lot of undeserved communities and children in the welfare system. I love providing psychoeducation to parents and offering healthy and safe parenting skills to help foster a healthy family dynamic and environment.
