New to Grow
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with five years of experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), allowing me to help clients process past experiences while building practical tools for the present. I also draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to best meet each client’s unique needs. I work especially well with individuals who feel stuck, burnt out, or like they’re holding everything together on the outside while struggling internally. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can be authentic, build self-awareness, and make meaningful, lasting changes.
In our first session, you can expect to learn a bit about me and my approach to therapy so you have a clear sense of how I work. We will then review and complete any necessary intake documentation, and from there, begin discussing what brought you to therapy. This initial session is an opportunity for me to better understand your experiences, concerns, and goals, while also ensuring you feel comfortable and supported moving forward.
My approach blends techniques from other modalities to fit each client’s unique needs. I focus on helping clients process past experiences, shift unhelpful patterns, and build practical tools they can use in real life in hopes of creating meaningful, lasting change in a supportive, nonjudgmental space.
I work best with people who feel like they’re carrying a lot but don’t always show it. You might feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, especially in relationships or during stressful life transitions. If you’re looking for a space to be real, better understand yourself, and learn tools that actually help in everyday life, we’ll likely be a good fit.
EMDR
EMDR can be a commitment heavy therapy. I will work with you on creating a schedule that suits you and your needs. I became officially trained in EMDR in January 2026, giving me a fresh perspective to help you heal.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT is generally less commitment, so if you're looking for something more talk therapy, this may be the treatment you prefer. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore how they impact feelings and actions, and develop more balanced ways of thinking that support healthier coping and decision-making.
