I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida for the past 5 years. I received my Master's Degree from Chamberlain University and my Post Master's Degree in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University. I help adults of all ages by empowering them with the tools needed to manage stress, improve their mental health, and navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience.
During our first session, I’ll take some time to get to know you better. I'll ask about your medical and psychiatric history, your current work and living situation, as well as your social and family support. We’ll also start exploring the reasons you’ve come to seek help and discuss any challenges you're currently facing. This is all part of building a clear understanding of how we can work together to help you move forward.
My greatest strength as a provider is my ability to listen attentively to my clients. I believe in making you an active part of your treatment plan, because your insights and perspectives are essential to creating a path that truly works for you. Together, we can build a plan that aligns with your needs and goals.
I truly enjoy working with clients who are navigating life's challenges, especially those dealing with anxiety, depression, and other stressors. It's incredibly fulfilling to help people find practical ways to cope and ultimately improve their well-being. I specialize in supporting individuals through difficult times, guiding them to overcome obstacles, and watching them regain confidence and peace of mind. Seeing my clients succeed and feel better is what drives me every day.
I have over 10 years of experience as a therapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), where I have worked extensively with individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family dynamics, self-esteem concerns, stress management, and infertility, among others. Throughout my career, I have been committed to helping my clients build resilience and develop practical coping mechanisms to manage and overcome their difficulties. In addition to my therapeutic work, I transitioned into becoming a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Services. This decision was driven by my desire to offer a more holistic approach to patient care—integrating both therapy and medication management when necessary. I believe that addressing mental health from both a psychological and medical perspective allows me to provide comprehensive support, helping clients achieve stability and emotional well-being. My goal as a clinician is to not only help stabilize my clients but also to empower them with the tools and strategies they need to manage stress, improve their mental health, and navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience.
