LISW, 20 years of experience
New to Grow
I specialize in helping young people and their families navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, family dynamics, school, relationships, and life transitions. My approach is Strength-Based and Solution-Focused and aims to build resilience, develop coping skills, and improve overall well-being. My career expands over 20 years as a Social Worker, with experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in many different spaces.
During the first session, we will get to know each other! We'll begin identifying your goals for therapy and talk about the best ways to work toward them.
I like to describe my personality as warm, open, compassionate, and kind. I strive to create spaces and opportunities that foster safety and support.
I know that reaching out for help can feel like a big step, whether you're a parent wanting the best for your child, or a young person looking for support yourself. Therapy should feel safe and accessible, not overwhelming. If you’re ready to get started or just want to learn more, I invite you to contact me today!
I often use Solution Focused Brief Treatment because it empathizes strength, hope, and practical steps forward. This approach helps you identify resources you already have and times when you've been successful in the past. Together we'll set achievable goals, and celebrate your progress along the way!
I believe therapy should honor the whole person-including your cultural background, values, and lived experiences. Culturally sensitive therapy means creating a space where you feel seen, respected, and understood. It’s important for me to learn about what matters
