Marie Oseh
As a person, social coherence is our order of the day. With it brings a lot of challenges that affect every one of us. This is the calling that drew me to psychiatry, where I can navigate how to help individuals and families cope with their daily issues. As a professional with both psychiatric and clinical knowledge (Psychiatric Board-Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Master of Science in Nursing- FNP), I understand the mental strains in our lives. The good news is that I have specialized in depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder which I am happy to help with the healing journey for both individuals and families. Drawing from the knowledge of compassion, and the charisma from the inner calling to serve eagerly, my mission is to treat each client with hope, holistically toward their recovery. I offer a warm, empathetic, patient-centered, thorough, non-judgmental, safe environment where you will feel heard and cared for using counseling as a foundation for engagement.
First session
As we embark on the journey towards healing, our clients will be provided with a professional and supportive environment that fosters open communication regarding any challenges they may be facing. During the initial session, we will aim to establish a rapport and mutually define goals that will guide our therapeutic approach. While this process may be daunting for some, our primary objective is to enhance our client's mental health, overall well-being, and ultimately facilitate a positive transformation in their lives.
Strengths
I have many years of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience with clients diagnosed with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, PTSD, perinatal mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. I previously worked as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner liaison consultant at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
