(she/they)
New to Grow
Hi, I'm Jacklyn (they/she). As a queer therapist, educator, and lifelong learner, I am passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves in ways that feel authentic and sustainable. My approach blends relational, humanistic, developmental, and somatic therapies, creating a space that is both supportive and gently challenging. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, people navigating trauma and life transitions, and those seeking a deeper connection with their bodies, identities, and relationships. I strive to bring warmth, curiosity, humor, and genuine care into the therapy room because I believe healing happens when we feel seen, understood, and empowered to move toward the lives we want to create.
I offer affirming, body-based therapy for queer, trans, and neurodivergent people healing from trauma and learning to trust themselves again. Together, we create space for your full identity, build safety in your body, and support you in moving toward greater ease, connection, and self-acceptance.
Clients often describe me as warm, affirming, thoughtful, and engaged. I balance deep empathy with gentle challenge, helping clients feel supported while also encouraging growth. My approach integrates relational, developmental, and somatic therapies, allowing us to explore not only thoughts and emotions but also the ways experiences are carried in the body. As a queer therapist with experience across community mental health, intensive outpatient, and LGBTQIA+ affirming settings, I bring an understanding of how identity, relationships, and larger systems shape our lives. I tend to be an active therapist who collaborates with clients rather than simply observing from the sidelines.
My clients are often people who have spent a long time caring for others, adapting to difficult circumstances, or trying to figure everything out on their own. They may be navigating anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, relationship concerns, burnout, life transitions, or a sense of disconnection from themselves and their bodies. I particularly enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, transgender and nonbinary clients, neurodivergent people, and anyone seeking an affirming space to explore who they are and how they want to move through the world. Many of the people I work with aren't necessarily looking for quick fixes. They're looking for deeper understanding, greater self-trust, more authentic relationships, and lasting change. Together, we create space for healing, self-discovery, and building a life that feels more connected, grounded, and aligned with what matters most.

I identify as
Somatic
I often use somatic therapies in my practice. I believe that tapping into your body's wisdom can be profound and healing. We work together over many sessions to deepen your awareness of your mind-body connection while increasing your ability to remain present. This is an individualized journey we embark on together!
Gender-affirming therapy
I have extensive experience working with transgender, nonbinary, gender-expansive, and questioning clients. My gender-affirming approach centers client autonomy, self-determination, and respect for each person's lived experience. I provide a supportive space to explore identity, navigate transitions, process the impact of discrimination and minority stress, strengthen self-trust, and cultivate authentic ways of living. My work integrates relational and humanistic approaches to support healing and growth.
