Hi and Welcome, I am Holly. I knew I wanted to help others, and after exploring various careers, I finally found my calling as a Social Worker/Therapist, and I haven’t looked back since. I believe that every single human being has some healing to do. Improving your self-awareness and your outlook on troubling situations are just two of the ways in which Individual Therapy can dramatically change your life. Whatever your reason for seeking therapy, I’m dedicated to helping you find your way to better mental health. As a therapist, I strive to help people navigate the complexities of life by supporting them as they identify struggles and tackle them head-on. I remain focused on adult individual therapy and work with clients who suffer from grief and loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and racial issues by gaining coping skills, boundaries, and a safe place to talk and process. I also work with relationship and/or job stressors, life transitions, and general support. I am passionate about helping those in helping professions by working with health professionals and first responders who are dealing with secondary trauma. It is important for me to educate and incorporate the benefits of health and lifestyle, and connect the mind, body, and spiritual connection, and their impact on mental health. Working with clients on the mind, body, and spirit connection. My therapies include talk therapy, Solution-Focused brief therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. We will assess and find the therapy that best meets your needs. I will meet you where you are and work with you to identify goals so you can move toward emotional healing and well-being, so you can Survive, Persevere, and Thrive!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be an opportunity to get to know one another . Early sessions will cover the basics of the therapeutic process and expectations. We will discuss your background and what brings you to therapy. Together, we'll identify and set goals that matter to you. My main goal is to begin building a strong therapeutic relationship with you. A trusting connection between therapist and client is one of the most important parts of meaningful progress in therapy. We will spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring what you hope to gain from our work together. You can expect the first session to feel more like a conversation than an evaluation. I may ask questions about your current concerns, life experiences, and the areas where you would like support. You are always free to share at your own pace. There is no pressure to disclose anything before you are ready. I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. It's normal to feel nervous, and I hope to help put you at ease by establishing a healthy therapeutic rapport and safe environment.
