New to Grow
Hello and welcome! I’m a Georgia-licensed therapist with 20 years of experience supporting adults and couples through anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I help clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected find steadiness, clarity, and renewed confidence in their lives. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. I draw from cognitive behavioral, trauma-informed, humanistic, psychodynamic, and family-based therapies to create a plan that fits your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re working to calm anxiety, heal from past experiences, strengthen your relationship, or navigate a new chapter, therapy with me is a respectful, judgment-free space. Reaching out takes courage. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering understanding, practical tools, and steady support as you move toward healing, connection, and meaningful change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, my main priority is to create a space where you feel heard, safe, and comfortable—it's okay to feel nervous, and there’s no pressure to know exactly what to say. We’ll start with a gentle “soft landing,” talking about what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping might change, while also giving you a chance to see if my style feels like the right fit for you. I’ll ask a few thoughtful questions to understand your story, and by the end of our time together, we’ll identify one or two initial goals to guide our work, at a pace that feels right for you, with no expectation to have it all figured out.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My strength lies in my integrative approach to healing. By blending trauma-informed care with practical, solution-focused techniques, I help clients bridge the gap between understanding their past and changing their present. I tailor therapy to you, drawing from CBT, psychodynamic work, and solution-focused strategies. This allows me to be highly adaptable, enabling us to address both immediate concerns and long-standing patterns. Whether you need immediate strategies to manage a panic attack or a long-term space to process complex trauma, I have the seasoned perspective to guide you through both with equal skill and steady support. I provide a unique balance of compassionate validation and gentle challenge, ensuring that our sessions are not just a place to vent, but help therapy lead to real, lasting change and renewed self-confidence.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to serve individuals and couples who feel they are at a crossroads. Someone looking for a bridge between feeling "stuck" and feeling "empowered." My ideal clients are often high-achievers or caregivers who are 'the strong ones' for everyone else but feel privately overwhelmed by anxiety or past hurts. You might feel like you’re constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop, struggling to silence a harsh inner critic, or like you're constantly overthinking every decision. If you are ready to move beyond just 'coping' and want to understand the roots of your patterns while gaining practical tools to navigate life’s transitions, we will work well together. I love working with clients who are curious about themselves and ready to build a life that feels authentic rather than just performative, and may also appreciate a seasoned, steady hand.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT in a supportive, goal oriented way to help you gently recognize and shift the thought patterns that keep anxiety feeling overwhelming. Together, we build practical, evidence based tools that strengthen the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so you can feel calmer, more in control, and more at ease in your everyday life.
Trauma Informed Care
I offer a compassionate, trauma informed space where we use grounding techniques, calming breathwork, and nervous system regulation to help you feel calmer, safer, and more like yourself again.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I help couples and individuals navigate conflict and life transitions using a solution focused approach that builds clear communication skills, healthy boundaries, and small, meaningful wins, so you can move forward with clarity, connection, and confidence.
