Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. I received my Masters from the West Texas A&M University and have been practicing for over 20 years. I enjoy working with clients who come to counseling ready for change. The most successful clients understand that, though this will not be easy, it is worth it for change and growth in their life. I enjoy walking beside these clients and supporting them in this journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. It is important to feel safe and comfortable in counseling to begin your work.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have been a counselor for over 20 years. I have worked with many clients identifying the stressors in their lives and what they would like to do to change things to live a happier, and sometimes, more productive life. We'll discuss what's important to you and how you want to move forward in counseling.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I use treatments that encompass physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual symptoms that make up the whole person. The journey toward health is found in all of them, and I help people to address these facets through learning about themselves and making new choices to help them grow.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use this techniques to help people understand the relationship between choices and rewards/consequences. It is important to learn through both successful and unsuccessful experiences.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Many people have experienced trauma of some kind. Working through the effects of the trauma and current feelings helps one decide how they will live their life and make choices moving forward.
