I am a licensed social worker dedicated to supporting individuals navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and family-related challenges. I am passionate about working with diverse communities including Latino individuals and families, and I provide culturally responsive and supportive space where clients feel seen and understood. My approach is collaborative, strength-based, and focused on helping clients build practical coping skills, gain clarity, and create meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. You'll have the opportunity to share your concerns, goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I will ask questions to better understand your background and current challenges, and we begin identifying initial goals and next steps. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable, heard and understood.
My greatest strength include building strong, trusting relationships with clients and creating a safe, nonjudgemental space for growth and healing. I take a culturally responsive and strength-based approach, helping clients feel seen and understood while also providing practical tools and strategies they can apply in their daily lives. I am collaborative, goal-oriented, and committed to helping clients create a meaningful and lasting change.

Many clients are parents, young adults, or individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or trying to balance multiple responsibilities. I also support clients from diverse cultural backgrounds who want a therapist that understands the importance family, identity, and lived experiences. Together, we focus on building coping skills, improving emotional well-being, and creating a meaningful, lasting change.
Christian Counseling
I offer Christian counseling for clients who would like to include their faith in therapy. I incorporate biblical principles, prayer, and spiritual reflection alongside evidence-based practices to support emotional healing and personal growth, always based on the client's preference and comfort level.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that impact their emotions and behaviors. through this approach, I support clients in developing healthier thinking patterns, coping strategies, and practical skills to manage anxiety, depression, and everyday stressors.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
I provide a supportive and inclusive space where culture, values, and life experiences are respected. I understand that culture plays an important role in mental health, and I tailor therapy to fit your background, beliefs, and personal goals.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I focus on helping you find solutions and build on your strengths. Instead of staying stuck on problems, we work together to set goals and create realistic steps to help you move forward and feel more in control and confident with the steps.
