Gail Elder
Hi, I'm Gail, a double board certified nurse practitioner (AGACNP-BC, PMHNP-BC). At Mindful Clarity, I work with adults who want thoughtful psychiatric care that considers the full picture, your symptoms, health, lifestyle, sleep, stress, and what matters to you.
My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel heard, supported, and understood.
I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for anxiety, depression, OCD, mood concerns, and other mental health challenges. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel heard, supported, and understood.
First session
Our first visit is really about getting to know you. We'll talk about what brought you in, what you've been experiencing, and how it's affecting your everyday life. I'll ask about your medical and mental health history, lifestyle, and what you'd like to work toward. We'll also explore treatment options, including medication when appropriate. There's no pressure to have all the answers or know exactly what to say. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and comfortable with our next steps.
Strengths
I'm down-to-earth, easy to talk to, and genuinely invested in your well-being. I take time to listen, ask questions, and look at the bigger picture, not just a symptom checklist. Together, we'll develop a treatment approach that makes sense for you, your lifestyle, and your goals.
Ideal clients
I work with adults who feel low, on edge, worn out, or stuck. You may face stress at work, poor sleep, big life shifts, or a mood that feels off. You want to feel more like you. You do not need to have it all figured out. Just show up as you are today, and we can start from there.
Treatment methods
Integrative
Mental health doesn't exist in a vacuum. Our sleep, physical health, stress levels, nutrition, and daily habits can all influence how we feel. In my practice, I take time to explore these connections and how they may be affecting you. Along with evidence-based psychiatric treatment, we may incorporate practical lifestyle changes, mindfulness, targeted lab testing, or nutritional supplements when appropriate. My goal is to help you understand what's contributing to how you feel and find realistic strategies that support your mental health and fit into your everyday life.
