The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Symptoms of depression and anxiety; among other irregularities caused by life stressors are responses all have experienced. Greif and loss are another huge component today, with so many tragedies and adversities, one may feel an inability to move forward or a disconnect from people and or purpose. Such encounters often create emotions, that provoke symptoms that can become unmanageable causing levels of apathy, loneliness and or hopeless. Participating in therapeutic strategies could relieve inhibitions and promote positive growth.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma- Informed Therapy (TIC) in addition to Strength-Based interventions. Individuals can change thought patterns, and improve self-awareness as it relates to relationships, environmental factors and how traumatic experiences have a direct impact on one’s view of themselves, others and the world around them. Providing a safe and non-bias space for individuals to share their thoughts and feelings without judgement. Using the skill set of active listening to allow persons the opportunity to express their most impressionable experiences and to display a level of vulnerability that is required when implementing new perspectives that can encourage changed behaviors.
