About me

Sometimes life can feel like a Rubik’s Cube in your mind- complicated, overwhelming, and impossible to solve on your own. That’s where I come in! I believe everyone deserves a safe, judgment free space to unpack their thoughts and feelings, begin to make sense of them, and move toward healing. My passion is helping adults recover from trauma, whether rooted in childhood or more recent experiences. I have experience supporting individuals who are navigating trauma, anxiety, codependency, attachment challenges, addictions, and personality disorders, and I work alongside each client to create a path forward that feels both empowering and hopeful.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and I want to help ease that anxiety. In our first session, I’ll spend time getting to know you while I gather background information that helps me understand what brings you to therapy. You are never expected to share more than you feel ready for, after all, we’re just beginning to build trust. It’s completely normal for it to take a few sessions before you feel fully comfortable opening up, and that’s part of the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a calm and grounded presence into sessions, allowing clients to focus fully on themselves and begin exploring their emotions and experiences at their own pace. I believe that meaningful progress in therapy begins with a strong foundation of trust. My goal is always to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults (18+) who are motivated and ready to begin their therapy journey, whether it’s their very first time in therapy or a continuation of their growth. My experience includes working with trauma, anxiety, codependency, and other challenges. While I take the work of healing seriously, I also believe therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy, sometimes sharing a laugh in session is just as important as unpacking the difficult emotions.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

When clients feel uncertain about change, I use Motivational Interviewing to explore ambivalence collaboratively. Rather than directing or pressuring, Motivational Interviewing focuses on strengthening clients’ own motivation and commitment to their goals, using empathy, active listening, and guidance to help them recognize their strengths, values, and reasons for change.

Attachment-based

I use Attachment-Based Therapy to help clients uncover the roots of current challenges and patterns in their relationships. This approach supports healing from past attachment wounds and fosters the development of healthier, more secure connections with themselves and others.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Through this approach, clients develop practical tools to challenge unhelpful thinking, manage intense emotions, and strengthen healthier coping strategies.

EMDR

When appropriate, I integrate EMDR into sessions, especially when progress in trauma work feels stuck. As a somatic-based approach, EMDR helps release the physical imprint of trauma stored in the body, creating space for deeper healing and forward movement.
