Together, we’ll work toward achieving your mental health goals. I offer convenient hours including evening and weekend appointments, if needed, to accommodate my patient’s life schedules.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, the first session with me is an important step in building a collaborative relationship focused on your mental health and well-being. During this initial meeting, clients can expect a comprehensive and non-judgmental assessment where we will explore various aspects of your mental, emotional, and physical health.
I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and supported. I know that mental health challenges are deeply personal, and I prioritize building a therapeutic relationship that fosters trust. Empathy is at the core of my practice, and I work to ensure each client feels heard and valued.
I am also positioned to serve Individuals with long-term conditions like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia who require ongoing care and adjustments to their treatment plans. I can help clients with co-occurring physical health conditions, requiring a provider who understands the connections between mental and physical health and can coordinate care accordingly.
Providing psychoeducation is an essential part of patient care. Psychoeducation involves informing and educating patients (and often their families) about mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and the overall course of care. This empowers patients to make informed decisions, actively participate in their treatment, and effectively manage their mental health.
