New to Grow
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), wife, and mother, I understand that life can be both rewarding and challenging. Through my own life experiences, I have gained insight into the complexities of relationships, family responsibilities, career demands, and personal growth. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples facing concerns such as anxiety, stress, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. My goal is to help you gain insight, develop practical tools, and move toward meaningful growth and healing while feeling supported every step of the way.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and discuss what brought you to therapy. We'll explore your concerns, goals, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and confident that you have a safe space to begin your journey.
I bring compassion, authenticity, and a collaborative approach to every session. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected while also feeling empowered to grow. I balance validation with accountability, helping you better understand your experiences through psychoeducation while equipping you with practical tools you can apply in everyday life. I tailor each session to your unique needs because I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all.
I work best with adolescents, adults, and couples who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. Whether you're navigating anxiety, stress, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, I provide a supportive space to process your experiences and build practical skills for lasting growth. You don't have to have everything figured out or be in crisis to benefit from therapy. If you're open to self-reflection, willing to learn new tools, and looking for a collaborative therapist who will support and gently challenge you along the way, we may be a good fit.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and develop healthier, more balanced ways of thinking and responding. Beyond symptom relief, I focus on building practical skills clients can use in daily life. Through reflection, education, and real-world application, clients learn to challenge negative beliefs, regulate emotions, and navigate challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
Christian Counseling
When requested, I integrate Christian counseling by incorporating biblical principles, prayer, and faith-based perspectives alongside evidence-based approaches. I believe faith can be a meaningful source of strength, hope, and healing. My approach is always client-centered. I never impose my beliefs and instead honor each client’s values and preferences while providing ethical, compassionate care. For those who desire it, Christian counseling can support emotional healing, growth, and resilience.
Child Parent Psychotherapy
In Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), I work with young children and their caregiver together to strengthen their relationship and promote healing after stressful or traumatic experiences. Through play, communication, and guided interactions, I help caregivers better understand their child's emotional and behavioral needs while fostering a safe, nurturing connection. My goal is to support healthy attachment, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen the parent-child relationship.
Compassion Focused
I use Compassion-Focused Therapy to help clients build a kinder, more understanding relationship with themselves. Together, we address self-criticism and shame while developing self-compassion, emotional balance, and healthier coping skills. My goal is to help clients face challenges without judgment, recognize their strengths, and build resilience through grace and self-awareness.
Couples Counseling
In couples counseling, I offer a balanced space where both partners can express themselves openly. We work to improve communication, deepen understanding, rebuild trust, and navigate conflict more effectively. I don’t take sides; instead, I help couples recognize patterns, understand each other’s perspectives, and build skills for a healthier, more connected relationship.
