About me

I am a psychotherapist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults around their mental health needs. Through therapy, I help clients experience relief from feelings of shame, relationship struggles, career frustrations, anxiety, depression, and inner criticism. I utilize a holistic, culturally-responsive, trauma-informed approach in supporting clients in identifying their emotions, triggers, and patterns in behaviors, to cultivate more sustainable coping skills and make long-lasting changes in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

First sessions consists of brief introductions, discussing reasons for seeking therapy, and therapeutic goals. During this session, I will ask for some background information (i.e. cultural background, current support system, significant past trauma). We also discuss confidentiality and I am open to answering any questions regarding therapy. This session serves as an opportunity for clients to discuss what they're looking for in therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am very authentic and genuine in my approach! I believe that therapy is a collaborative practice in supporting clients reach their goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with young people around issues of confidence and self-esteem. These clients often feel insecure and. stuck, but are eager to better understand the root of their problems and are willing to unlearn coping skills that no longer serve the.
