(she/her)
I am a caring and compassionate clinical social worker with 20 + years of experience serving children, adolescents, and adults. When people experience significant life stressors or trauma, their lives often begin to unravel, and they find it difficult to function. My goal is to equip clients with tools to optimize level of functioning and enhance their quality of life.
The initial session will involve rapport building and a complete psychosocial assessment. This allows me to gather historical information, including current symptoms and information about the presenting problem. We will also begin to collaborate on establishing treatment goals that will help guide future sessions.
I aim to create a warm, non-judgmental, safe environment and strive to work collaboratively with my clients to cultivate a strong therapeutic relationship. I connect deeply with my clients, helping them to feel heard, understood, and appreciated. I enjoy guiding people to identify & carry out their own authentic solutions; find strategies to get their needs met; and foster meaningful, fulfilling relationships. I thrive on educating clients and helping them use safe coping skills to break out of unhealthy patterns, feel empowered & strong. You're not alone. I'm here for you, so how can I help?
I specialize in working with individuals struggling with the daily stressors of life, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
