Hello, I'm Lacie Pace, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping adults navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based care. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, develop effective coping skills, and work toward meaningful personal growth. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to meet each client's unique needs and goals. I am committed to empowering clients to build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and create lasting positive change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We will discuss the concerns that brought you to therapy, explore your personal history, and identify your goals for treatment. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and challenges, while providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment for you to share at your own pace. Together, we will develop a plan tailored to your needs and discuss how therapy can help you move toward meaningful and lasting change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered approach to every session. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. My approach combines evidence-based practices with genuine empathy, allowing me to tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs, experiences, and goals. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, I help clients gain insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel empowered and actively involved in the process, and I work alongside them to build resilience, foster self-compassion, and achieve their personal goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with adults (18+) who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, grief, and difficulties with self-esteem or emotional regulation. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and are seeking greater understanding of themselves and healthier ways to cope with life's challenges. I work well with individuals who are motivated for change, open to self-exploration, and interested in developing practical skills to improve their mental and emotional well-being. Using a collaborative and supportive approach, I help clients identify patterns that may be contributing to distress, process past experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can gain insight, strengthen coping strategies, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful behavioral changes. CBT is a goal-oriented, evidence-based approach that helps individuals better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I tailor interventions to each client's unique needs, supporting them in building practical skills to manage anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related symptoms, and life transitions.

Attachment-based

I utilize an attachment-based approach to help clients explore how early relationships and life experiences influence current emotions, behaviors, and relationship patterns. Through a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship, clients gain insight into attachment wounds, develop healthier ways of connecting with others, and strengthen emotional regulation. This approach promotes healing, resilience, and the development of secure, meaningful relationships.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop practical skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, tolerating distress, and increasing mindfulness. DBT combines acceptance and change strategies to support clients in building emotional resilience and responding more effectively to life's challenges. I tailor DBT interventions to each client's needs, helping them create lasting behavioral and emotional change while working toward their personal goals.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to help clients better understand the different parts of themselves that influence their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach, clients learn to identify and heal wounded parts, reduce internal conflict, and strengthen their connection to their core Self. IFS supports emotional healing, self-awareness, and personal growth by fostering greater balance, self-compassion, and resilience.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify their strengths, build on existing resources, and create practical steps toward their goals. Rather than focusing primarily on problems, this approach emphasizes solutions, resilience, and positive change. By exploring what is already working and envisioning a preferred future, clients develop confidence and actionable strategies to overcome challenges and achieve meaningful progress.
