I’m a licensed therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, grief, and life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware, yet find themselves stuck in patterns of self-criticism, emotional overwhelm, or disconnection in relationships. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping you better understand yourself—not just intellectually, but on a deeper emotional and body-based level. Together, we work to create meaningful, lasting change so you can feel more grounded, connected, and aligned with what matters most to you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you in. You can expect a relaxed, supportive conversation where there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences and what you’re hoping for from therapy, and we’ll begin to get a sense of what working together might look like. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and more at ease about the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe that meaningful change takes courage, and I have deep respect for each person who chooses to begin therapy. One of my greatest strengths is creating a space where clients feel truly seen, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. My work focuses on helping people reconnect with themselves in a deeper way—especially when they feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, self-criticism, or disconnection in relationships. I integrate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and EMDR to support not only insight, but lasting emotional and relational change. Many of the struggles we face are rooted in earlier experiences that shape how we see ourselves and others. Together, we gently explore these patterns and work toward developing greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and the ability to relate to yourself and others with more authenticity, trust, and compassion.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are thoughtful and self-aware, but may feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, self-criticism, or disconnection in their relationships. Many of my clients have a strong inner world and a desire to understand themselves more deeply, but find that insight alone hasn’t led to lasting change. I’m a good fit for those who are open to looking inward, developing self-compassion, and exploring both emotional and body-based experiences. Together, we focus on helping you feel more grounded, connected, and able to move forward in a way that aligns with what matters most to you.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, while learning how to respond to them in more flexible and supportive ways. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult feelings, we work on building awareness, self-compassion, and the ability to move toward what matters most to you. My approach is thoughtful and collaborative, and I integrate mindfulness and body awareness to support deeper, lasting change.

EMDR

I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help process difficult or overwhelming experiences that may still be affecting you in the present. EMDR works by helping the brain naturally reprocess these experiences so they feel less intense and no longer carry the same emotional charge. This can be especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, and long-standing patterns that feel hard to shift through talk therapy alone. I approach this work at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness-based approaches to help you become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and internal experiences without judgment. This allows you to step out of automatic patterns and respond to yourself with greater clarity and self-compassion. Mindfulness can support a sense of grounding and presence, especially during times of stress or emotional overwhelm.

Somatic

I use a somatic (mind-body) approach to help you connect with how emotions and experiences are held in the body. By bringing awareness to physical sensations, we can access deeper layers of experience that may not be fully reached through talking alone. This work supports regulation of the nervous system and can help you feel more grounded, safe, and connected in your day-to-day life.
