New to Grow
Hello everyone, My name is Beatrice Miller and I am a clinical social worker. My passion lies in working with teens and young adults through the unique challenges faced especially with the ever changing world around us. Life can start to feel overwhelming and almost like we are drowning in our everyday stressors such as school, our jobs, our relationships, parenthood, and even social media. In this space, we’ll explore topics that matter to you right now in this moment and what aspects of your life that are impacting you the most and how to move forward.
Welcome. I'm glad you're here. My priority in our first session is creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and never rushed. There's no pressure to share everything at once—we'll go at a pace that feels right for you. I'd like to spend this time getting to know you, hearing what brought you to therapy, and learning about the challenges or experiences that have led you here. We'll also talk about what you hope to gain from therapy, your goals, and what feeling better might look like for you. This is a collaborative process, and together we'll begin building a plan that fits your needs and supports your growth
Utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing, strengths based therapy, and solution focused brief therapy to empower clients to feel confident in taking control of their life and their mental health. Understanding that you are the expert of your life I am here to navigate the journey with you and provide tools along the way.
My ideal client is someone navigating a significant life transition—whether that's moving to a new city, starting a new job, experiencing a change in a relationship, becoming a parent, or adjusting to another major life event. These changes can bring uncertainty, stress, and emotional overwhelm, making it difficult to feel grounded or like yourself. I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated to better understand themselves, develop healthy coping skills, and regain a sense of balance. While you don't need to have all the answers, being open to self-reflection, willing to put in the work between sessions, and committed to collaborating in the therapeutic process can make meaningful growth possible. Together, we'll create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can identify your goals, build resilience, and help you return to a place of confidence, stability, and overall well-being.
