New to Grow
Are you feeling stressed, sad, anxious? Are you being challenged by a relationship? Do you want to understand your attachment style and how it affects your relationships? Sometimes life can feel overwhelming and we may need extra support to get through this particular season of our lives. I would like the opportunity to support you through this. I have over 20 years experience helping people get through challenging times.
In our first session l focus on getting to know you and giving you the space to share the challenges that you are experiencing. I have been told by clients that they feel comfortable opening up to me. Most clients report feeling like a heavy weight has been lifted and feel hopeful about future therapy sessions.
I’m compassionate, understanding, kind and authentic. I was fortunate to have a kind therapist to help me get where l am today. My own life experiences, personal growth and passion for learning provide a wealth of knowledge to support you on your journey towards living a healthier and happier life.
Do you feel overwhelmed or stuck. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or grief related to a break up, divorce, or loss of a loved one l can help. Integrative
I use an integrative approach, drawing from several evidence-based methods to tailor to your needs. Together we will explore thoughts, behaviors emotions and identify patterns that no longer serve you.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness to increase clients awareness of self, to be more present and this often leads to feeling more calm and grounded.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help you identify the thoughts that lead to your feelings and behaviors. If these thoughts are inaccurate and no longer serve you we replace with more empowering and accurate ones.
Psychodynamic
I use psychodynamic for a deeper understanding of your current behaviors, patterns and beliefs.
