(she/her)
I'm a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), EMDR Trained Therapist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and Board Certified-Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH) driven by a passion for helping individuals overcome adversity. I earned my Master of Social Work from Temple University in 2020 and have dedicated myself to accompanying clients in their quests to recover from life’s plot twists and turbulence. I'm pleased to offer online (video) psychotherapy sessions to indivduals located in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Delaware. I enjoy supporting young adult and middle-aged women who have experienced: -Chronic Shame and Imposter Syndrome -Workplace Dissatisfaction and Burnout -Childhood and/or Adulthood Sexual Trauma -Race-based Workplace Stressors -Social Phobia and Generalized Anxiety -People-pleasing and Boundary Issues
During our first session, we'll begin to gather and assemble the building blocks of our collaboration. We'll establish a sturdy therapeutic rapport and continue to assess for whether or not we're a fit to work together. We'll also start to explore your presenting issues, symptoms, strengths, and therapeutic needs. Overall, we'll both get a glimpse of what you're seeking support with before we identify your goals or what you hope to gain from our sessions.
My mission is to help clients untangle themselves from the complex webs of life that have spun around them, leaving them feeling helpless and stuck. During our work together, you can expect to experience collaborative, person-centered care—along with elements of consistency and flexibility, ingredients that foster a worthwhile therapy experience. For anyone seeking empathy, understanding, and acceptance, I'm here to support you. As your soon-to-be therapist, I'm committed to crafting a nonjudgmental and restorative environment that will empower you to extract the maximum benefit from our sessions. Together, we'll journey through rough terrain at your preferred pace and navigate unexpected detours.

EMDR is everything. This evidence-based form of psychotherapy promotes profound healing and transformation by addressing distressing parts of one's past, present, and future. I use EMDR with clients experiencing the effects of trauma/PTSD, anxiety, chronic shame, and imposter syndrome, for example.
This is the heart and soul of my work with clients. It involves leading with empathy, holding space, offering unconditional acceptance, and meeting each client where they are in their journey. It is the fertilization that cultivates and nourishes strong therapeutic bonds.
Searching for solutions can feel like finding needles in a haystack, making us doubt their existence. I use solution-focused techniques to instill hope and guide clients to relief by helping them tap into their strengths and explore exceptions to their dilemmas.
Mindfulness is essential and helps individuals who "space out" or struggle to remain present. I guide clients through exercises that help them reconnect to the here and now by noticing their thoughts, emotions, sensations, and surroundings. Practicing non-judgmental awareness brings relief and prepares clients for trauma work.
Our thoughts dictate our emotions and behaviors. How we view ourselves, others, and the world tends to stem from distressing life experiences. Instead of urging clients to alter their thinking, I teach them how to gently and shamelessly challenge, reframe, and defuse their relationships with their thoughts.
