I am a Jamaican-American Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Science in Social Work from Temple University. I use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy—to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. As a certified Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, I also integrate mindfulness and holistic practices into therapy when appropriate, helping clients connect mind and body in the healing process. Dream Wellness is a holistic mental health and wellness practice dedicated to supporting the connection between mental and physical well-being for women and teen girls.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. You'll have the opportunity to share your concerns, goals, and any questions you have about the therapeutic process. There is no pressure to tell your whole story at once we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we'll identify your priorities and begin creating a plan that reflects your unique needs and strengths. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented, providing a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Whether you're navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or personal growth, we'll work together to build practical skills, deepen self-understanding, and help you move toward the life you want.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

At Dream Wellness we integrate evidence-based psychotherapy with mind-body practices like yoga for women & teens to heal, grow, and thrive. Born and raised in Southside Jamaica, Queens, NY, I am deeply committed to providing accessible and culturally responsive therapeutic services to individuals and families from all backgrounds. Therapy, in my view, is a collaborative process that thrives on a strong client-therapist relationship. Together, we explore challenges and possibilities, develop practical strategies, and work toward solutions that help you achieve your personal and therapeutic goals.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

I believe that every person has the ability to grow, heal, and create meaningful change. My role isn't to tell you what to do it's to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. Together, we'll work to better understand what's getting in the way of the life you want and build on your strengths to help you move forward. I value authenticity, compassion, and collaboration, and I see therapy as a partnership where your voice, goals, and experiences guide the process. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling heard, understood, and better equipped to handle life's challenges with greater confidence and self-awareness.
