Life is full of ups and downs, and if you’re here, you might be trying to find some stability. Whether you've been feeling stressed, wanting to expand your sense of wellbeing, or feeling like you've lost yourself in a relationship, I’m here to help you sort through it with compassion and honesty. I’m here to root for you, but I’ll also give it to you straight—because growth happens when we’re both kind and real with ourselves. I specialize in working with adults in their 20s and 30s who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, or relationship issues. I also enjoy working with couples who are struggling to communicate effectively in their relationship. These are all areas I’ve worked through in my own life, so I bring not just clinical tools, but a deeper understanding of these experiences and the challenges they can present us with. In our work together, we’ll focus on building self-awareness, challenging unhelpful patterns, and reconnecting with what matters most to you. I tailor our sessions to fit your needs using evidence-based approaches like mindfulness, CBT, and acceptance-based strategies. Most of all, I want you to feel empowered to lead a life that feels more aligned to your values and who you are. For more information about me and my services, visit www.alightermind.com. Please note: Currently, I only have daytime availability, as my evenings are fully booked. If you request a session, I may need to adjust our appointment time due to calendar syncing issues with Grow’s system. Thank you for your understanding!
In our first session, I will want to get a better idea of what brings you to therapy. I will also ask you some background history questions to get more context on your past and present. I also use the first session to briefly discuss what some of your goals are for therapy. If you're not sure yet, we will come up with something together! Therapy is a collaborative process from the very start.
I genuinely enjoy working with clients on communication with themselves and with others. This is a skill that is beneficial to most, if not all, areas we can cover in therapy.
I specialize in helping clients manage anxiety and stress, improve relationships, and enhance communication skills.
Through the use of CBT, I assist you in making connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and using those connections to better understand yourself and then use that knowledge to make meaningful changes in your life.
