I know life has been so challenging and you have been dealing with brokenness, hurt, and pain from your past or maybe even your current circumstances. The emotional pain can become so overwhelming that it can consume and takeover daily living. When relationships and daily functioning become effected, it may be an indication that it is time to get help. I know it may seem that things will always be the way that they are now, but I am here to tell you that things can get better and therapy can be the beginning process. Having someone to listen, understand, and create a safe space for you to express your thoughts and feelings is a great place to begin and it is what I am here for. I am committed to coming along side you as you begin your healing journey.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
My clients can expect a therapist that is relatable to them by showing warmth, acceptance, and empathy. I am a therapist that can sense what my clients are thinking and feeling and I work to create a space for them to feel comfortable sharing private, confidential information and parts of themselves that are often entirely unknown by others. I have faith in the quality of the relationship and the confidentiality of what is disclosed which leads to a deeper connection.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I have been providing counseling to teenagers, adults, and families for 5 years. I am experienced and trained in assisting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, self, esteem, trauma and PTSD. My therapeutic style consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focus therapy. My treatment approach is dependent upon the needs of each client.
