Jessica Musoni
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing evidence-based psychiatric care to children and adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns. I specialize in medication management and psychiatric evaluation to support symptom improvement and overall functioning.
In our time together, I focus on helping you figure out what actually works for your life—tools, strategies, or medications if they make sense—and we do it at a pace that feels doable.
My approach is patient-centered and individualized, with a focus on developing treatment plans that reflect each person’s specific needs and goals.
First session
In the first session with me, clients can expect a warm, relaxed, and non-judgmental environment where the focus is on understanding what’s been going on and what brought them in. We’ll talk through symptoms, history, and previous experiences with treatment. I’ll ask questions to get a clear clinical picture while also making space for you to share what matters most to you. Together, we’ll begin identifying next steps so you leave with clarity and direction. Please note, I do not prescribe ADHD stimulants or other controlled medications, but I do offer a full range of other medications to support anxiety, mood, sleep, and more.
Strengths
I provide a supportive and welcoming space for clients to explore their mental health concerns. I work with individuals to develop personalized treatment plans that support overall well-being and improved functioning. I offer ongoing support throughout care and help guide clients through treatment options in a clear and approachable way. The focus of my work is helping clients feel supported and make meaningful progress over time.
Ideal clients
I provide psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults of any age experiencing difficulties related to emotional health, attention, and stress regulation. Many individuals seek treatment when these concerns begin to affect routines, relationships, work, or school performance. I work with people who are interested in professional evaluation, treatment options, and ongoing care to support improved stability and day-to-day functioning over time.
Treatment methods
Supportive
I primarily work with patients through medication management. In these visits, we focus on understanding your symptoms, creating a treatment plan, and adjusting medications thoughtfully as needed. I also provide brief, supportive counseling—often informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—to help you make sense of your symptoms, try coping strategies, and support your overall treatment goals. These sessions are meant to complement medication care, not replace ongoing therapy. Follow-up appointments are usually 30 minutes every 1–3 months, focused on medication management. If you’re looking for weekly or long-term psychotherapy, you may benefit from working with a therapist, and I’m happy to collaborate as part of your care team.
