As a licensed clinical professional counselor, I come with extensive clinical experience working with a diverse population. I strongly believe in the power of therapeutic relationship and take a client-centered approach to create a safe space for you to understand how life experiences including early development, history of trauma and life stressors can have an impact on your ability to maintain healthy relationships with yourself and others.
We will focus on getting to know each other, rapport building, exploring your current challenges and your goals for therapy. We will also go through the intake form, that you will be completing before our first meeting, to learn your biopsychosocial history. I take an approach of meeting you where they are, while focusing on creating a therapeutic safe space for self exploration.
Feeling a sense of safety and trust is an important part of therapy. My initial goal is to allow the time and space for you to get there. I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My goal is to provide the safe environment, guidance and tools for you to recognize your strengths, be able to work through the blind spots towards self efficacy and self empowerment.
I enjoy working with young adults to adult population of diverse backgrounds. Over the span of my clinical experience, I've learned that we all have within us what we need to improve our quality of life and sometimes need a safe/supportive space along the journey.

I take a client centered, holistic approach to collaborate with my clients to establish their treatment plan. Some of the treatment methods utilized in my practice include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused , Attachment and Trauma Focused.
